It's such a rare thing to have fog here. I miss fog. I miss the cozy, slow mornings of my childhood that were wrapped in a blanket of quiet. It calms me, rejuvenates me and makes me stop, slow down and enjoy the moment. It doesn't last long and must be savored while it is present.

This was taken last Autumn, you can see the crab apples that had started to fall.

I have fallen in love with film over the last two years. Here is a shot captured last fall. You can see the trees beginning to turn.

I've always loved this old truck. We traveled to be near family for Thanksgiving and I had  to grab a shot of it. Sun flare just added to the picture.


The kids started back to school today~spring break is over and therefore my day needs to begin. It was so much fun to have them home. I can't wait for summer and no school!

It's been awhile since I've stopped by here. A long while! This was taken a while ago and we have more snow coming tomorrow :)

Well, I knew this blog would take a backseat to life in general but didn't realize that backseat would be for nearly two months! End of school programs and such have been making this last month very busy. I'm anxious for summer vacation! I hope to blog a little more then.

Been having fun with my husband's dad's old Minolta. I believe one of the kids took this picture of the dog. All the ones I took were of them~and I LOVE how they turned out! I'm now on the lookout for a local film processing place that isn't too expensive. Walgreen's just about drove me crazy with this roll they developed and even though I went back to have to correct something they actually added someone else pictures to my cd! I'm not going back again.

I'm loving all the little signs of spring. This blue sky could only be enhanced by green leaves on the trees. Soon!

the kids and i went on a walk last weekend and found a fun place we can't wait to visit again. our poor dog wanted so badly to run and play in the water too but she is not loyal when she is off leash and i knew i'd never get her to come back to me!
it's been a crazy week. anytime you have to go to the social security office twice in one week you know it's bound to be a little off kilter. clouds are rolling in and they're predicting rain/snow so it looks like we won't be returning to our fun place we found this weekend. we'll just have to snuggle down with a good book or two!
